At our clinic, we practice a results-driven, evidence-based approach to chiropractic care, combining time-tested techniques with modern technology to deliver precise and effective spinal correction. Our discipline is centered around the Gonstead-Palmer package technique, enhanced by advanced diagnostic and adjusting tools to ensure individualized, targeted care for each patient.

The Gonstead method forms the foundation of our structural analysis and adjustment strategy. Known for its specificity, this technique involves a detailed evaluation of spinal biomechanics, posture, motion, and neurological function. We further integrate principles from the Palmer Package, allowing flexibility in technique application while maintaining a focus on spinal integrity and nerve system optimization.

To support our diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes, we utilize:

X-Ray Imaging – Essential for precise visualization of spinal alignment, disc integrity, and vertebral subluxations. X-rays guide our correction strategy and provide a biomechanical roadmap unique to each patient.

Titron Thermographic Scans – A non-invasive tool to assess neurothermal patterns and identify areas of nerve interference. This scan helps track progress and guides ongoing care recommendations.

Impulse iQ® Adjusting Instrument – A computerized, sensor-guided tool that delivers controlled and dynamic adjustments. It provides real-time feedback and auto-stops when correction is achieved, ensuring a gentle yet effective treatment.

Activator Method® – A low-force technique utilizing a handheld instrument to deliver quick, targeted adjustments. Especially beneficial for sensitive patients, children, and those with conditions requiring gentle care.

By combining the precision of Gonstead and Palmer techniques with objective analysis tools and advanced instrumentation, we provide a comprehensive and personalized chiropractic experience. Our goal is to restore function, reduce pain, and support the body’s natural ability to heal—delivering measurable and lasting results.

Dr. Philip Erlandson, Chiropractor

Born and raised in Westby, WI, I’m proud to be serving the community that shaped who I am. Growing up, I was deeply involved in the local wrestling scene—from youth tournaments to high school matches—which gave me a lifelong appreciation for movement, discipline, and the value of physical health.

After earning my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UW-La Crosse, I followed a family tradition by attending Palmer College of Chiropractic—the same path taken by my dad, Uncle Marty, and cousins Kris Nordrum, Ben, and Joe Erlandson. I graduated from Palmer in June 2025 and feel honored to now practice alongside my dad, continuing the legacy that he and my uncle began.

In practice, I primarily use the Palmer Package, with a focus on Gonstead analysis, and I incorporate tools like the Impulse iQ and Activator as needed. My goal is always to support a patient’s overall wellness—not just pain relief. I believe true health goes beyond the absence of symptoms.

Outside of the clinic, I love staying active by going to the gym, hiking, kayaking, biking, and walking trails. I also enjoy cooking and spending time with family and friends—many of whom are now also my patients. This area has always been home, and I’m grateful every day to care for the people who make this community so special.
